Andre Agassi
Tennis legend Andre Agassi broke through on his 17th as the Las Vegas Kid. With his wild long hair and controversial clothes he was the favourite of the public and a big worry for the traditional tennis organization.
In his first years to the top, Agassi often lost in the first rounds, or in the fourth or fifth set. He physically wasn't yet strong enough and he wouldn't do anything yet to win.
After he had learned his lessons, Agassi moved up to the absolute top, but also tumbled down again. After he was ranked outside the top 100, Andre was mentally coached by Anthony Robbins to get him back in peak state. After this crisis it became clear to him what it was that he wanted in life. He changed his priorities and went through an enormous change in his approach. Then Agassi worked incredibly hard, as well as in the fitness club and he transformed his body in such a way that exactly fitness and mental resistance became his features. He made the greatest jump in the history of the ATP-ranking by climbing from outside the top 100 to the top 10 within a year.
After he rediscovered this greater goal within him, everything came together. His greatest success came in 1999, when he won Roland Garros.
After that success Agassi never stopped fighting again and he kept his provocative style of playing. He became the fifth man who won the four Grand Slam titles in his career. Andre Agassi ended his career at the 2006 US Open. He is a real legend and a role model for every young athlete or person who wants to restructure setbacks into successes. Andre also started in 1994 the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation and since that time he has collected more than $ 100 million for his foundation.
